Enter an anime that is set in Shibusen, a shinigami technical school for weapon meisters and humans that can transform into weapons. This series revolves around Maka Albarn, a meister, and her weapon and parter in crime, Soul Eater Evans or known as Soul. Maka and Soul have to collect 99 kishin souls, which are human souls turned bad from seeking power by eating human souls, and one witch soul. Once that happens, Soul can turn into a Deathscythe, the highest title for a weapon. However, this not just a serious anime, it's got many laughs with the seducing Blair, symmetry-obsessed Death the Kid, Maka's Maka Chops, and Black Star's bigshot ego.
